This is a right of passage for me that I’m probably way too excited about. For years I’ve been watching as other authors post images of their foreign covers to their blogs and I’ve wondered to myself, “Will I ever be as cool as Scott Westerfeld?” The answer to that is clearly no, but I can try, dammit, I can try. And so, I now reveal to the world the first foreign cover for one of my books—at least the first one I’ve laid eyes on. I give you! Nguoi Yeu Dau! (aka Sweethearts, translated by Di Li) To be published in Vietnam next month.

Hopefully an image of une fille comme ça  (French Story of a Girl) isn’t too far behind.

Alas, as much as I’d love to dream all day about being famous in Vietnam, I can’t let it distract me from the massive amounts of work yet to be done on Zarr Book 3, which will someday have a real title, I hope, if my feeble mind can do the merest amount of creative thinking on that front.
