…all you guys and gals who are managing a writing career (pre- or post-publication) and a day job, and/or raising kids. Sweet baby James I can’t believe I used to do this every dang day. It really takes it out of me, even at a job I’m enjoying so much with people I like and a lovely physical working environment. And yes, I am whining about something that will be over in three days—three more days of 8-5, then four more weeks of 12-5. If nothing else, I certainly appreciate my freedom a lot more than I had been for the last six months, and it gets me fired up to take that freedom in hand and make the most of it.

I visited my office (my writing office) on the way home today. The carpet cleaners were there at long last, and the electrician is scheduled. It’s almost like the ceiling never fell down at all!

On an entirely unrelated note: can someone explain to me the difference between DVD-R+ and DVD-R and DVD-R +/-? Thanks.
