In case anyone is following this story. It’s very near us – we can see Trolley Square from our house, and the news copters, but we’re okay. At least five people, however, aren’t. 

It’s crazy watching the news. I know I sound like every other person who has had something like this happen in their city, but it’s difficult to comprehend how close we are to it. Trolley Square is literally down the hill from us. We pass it daily, and could be there on any given evening if taken by the mood to browse Tabula Rasa or have a beer at the pub. Virtually all my friends live around this area and I dread seeing the victim list. I’m sure everyone around here tonight feels the same.
