The Lucy Variations has a cover, and I might have a new favorite…

It wasn’t all that long ago that I was crying, daily, as I worked through the last drafts of THE LUCY VARIATIONS, certain it would break me.

Then my editor called me and said that it was really done.

Then somewhere during the copyedits, I began to believe that it actually was.

And now, it has skin! And quite a pretty skin at that. This was one of those covers that has attached itself to me slowly, and that attachment has grown into a deep and burning love.

May 2013. Just around the corner!

What a smart cover. I love the image, the design, that fragile thread of bracelet– beautiful and intriguing.

Oh, oh, oh! It’s LOVELY. I’m so excited to discover the “variations” aspect of your title is a play on music/the piano! My favorite instrument. :-)

It’s beautiful. There are very few books I would buy simply because of the cover – but this one I would.

She could be playing the opening notes of the old “Love Story” theme. If the book is as sad as that movie, it’s a scary coincidence.

    Congrats on a gorgeous cover!

Ooh! Your name is on there and that’s the best part. Are there any ARCs to be had for us impoverished aspiring authors aka book bloggers? Sorry I haven’t commented in a while. I’ve been busy trying to write a tenth as well as you. Love, love, love you and your books.
