sleep, precious sleep

I just awoke from the most awesome four hour nap in the history of naps. It was somewhat accidental—I laid down at one and only meant to doze. Sadly, it meant I missed my friend’s performance gig at 3:30, but I desperately needed that sleep as I’ve spent the last three nights tossing and turning and rearranging the covers and changing into more comfortable pj’s and generally, well, not sleeping.

Randomly:

My husband teaches high school and any and all news of school shootings freaks me out. It’s hard not to let my imagination run away with me.

Pecan pancakes for breakfast on a Saturday morning are truly a gift from God. And from the pancake house.

Thank you, Project Runway. If things had been different, I might have had to cry myself to sleep.

This is interesting, both for writers and for Utahns.
