@Sara, annie’s has an AMAZING breakfast/brunch but only on saturday.
austin standards for breakfast are kerbey lane (great pancakes) and magnolia, both of which are fun/funky 24 hour places (i recommend getting there early on saturday or sunday).
and of course, there’s always DELICIOUS BREAKFAST TACOS!!! i like the ones at torchy’s (on south first or guadalupe) and the ones at el chilito (on manor).
NOM IT UP!!!

@poshdeluxe, So great to meet you at the fest! I did make it to Kerbey Lane yesterday – great.
sara; didn’t really read this but i just wanted to tell you that once was lost, was awsome. personally its my favourite of your 3 books. it was deep, and suspensful, and the characters were crafted to perfection. i thought anyhow. okay i’m done.

@C, thank you SO Much c!
I just finished Once Was Lost and am blown away with admiration. I thought it wouldn’t be possible for you to follow The Story Of A Girl with anything as powerful and touching, but you’ve done it again. I’m not in the habit of writing fan mail (I’ve written only one other in the past several years) but I had to write to you. You are a powerful and exceptionally talented writer and I will be looking eagerly to reading your next novel.
