I Love the Dark Chocolate KitKat. I stumble upon all kinds of fun candy while traveling in markets outside of Wisconsin! For whatever reason, many of those different types are not available in my area!!

As for poutine, fries smothered with Wisconsin Sharp Cheddar cheese tastes so much better! (Okay, so I may be a bit biased here because I grew up with great cheese, but honestly, my husband wasn’t as impressed as he should have been considering all the hype poutine gets.)

I totally laughed about the “tubes.” No more mocking Anne for drinking a Cosmos!

I’m not a gravy fan either, but when I lived in Canada there was something about it that appealed to me on REALLY cold nights. Humidity + cold + knocking on doors all day =
anything tastes good, I guess.

I’d say the water refills vary from waiter to waiter — though I’d also say I tend not to get refills as often as I’d like.

Since you said you “don’t drink soda”, I might as well mention that we Canadians don’t drink soda, either. Instead we drink pop.

They do the same thing with the bill in Europe. They consider it rude to give it to you when not asked for it because they don’t want to rush you away. I really like it, because I almost always feel like I’m being rushed away when I’m in restaurants here. People don’t understand when we want to stay and talk for a while :-/
