with apologies to everyone I’ve declined…

When I first signed up with Twitter, I was determined—determined!—to only use it to keep in touch with people I kind of know well. I protected my updates, and declined many a follower request in my determination to keep it private. But, now that I’m in hate with Facebook, and Twitter is becoming the go-to place for the writing community (and everyone else in the world), I am acknowledging the tipping point and going public. If you’re not still mad at me for declining you, you can follow me at www.twitter.com/sarazarr. E. Lockhart also just went public. In fact, here is a whole list of twittering YA authors, a list growing by the second.

Last night I went to Laurie Halse Anderson’s signing at the King’s English, and it was so much fun and so many local authors and aspiring writers came out. Hanging around my favorite book store with some of my favorite people for a couple of hours = worth missing Thursday night TV.

I have so much to do to get ready for Texas and Rochester next week, but am I doing it? No, I am not. I will start by printing my itinerary. The journey of a thousand mile begins with a single step…

Sorry I missed the event. Been battling a nasty case of bronchitis that will NOT go away.

Have a good time in Texas.
